Sober Living Housing are living accommodations where individuals in the early days of recovery from addiction can live.

Sober houses function as structured, safe and supportive living environments for individuals who are not yet ready to begin living on their own.  It is a healthy transition between residential treatment and their future lives.

The Substance Abuse Foundation Inc. has partnered with individuals in the community to allow us the opportunity to provide “safe houses” or sober living accommodation to clients who have completed treatment and who have a need.  These collaborative efforts help us maximise limited resources where we can provide that critical support that is needed as the client adjusts to life without their addictions.  Clients are able to resume “normal” activities such as working and functioning in a “home” environment with conditions that support recovery and sobriety.
