The intake process for all our clients is unique to every individual and is needed to set the stage for the best recovery strategy possible. Clients are involved in the process. What is required before a client is admitted to residential treatment at Verdun House or Marina House?
Step 1: Initial Contact – Pre-Admission Assessment
Send preliminary information to the clinical team for Marina or Verdun (gender specific).

Verdun House is our all-male residential treatment facility and Marina House is our all-female residential treatment facility.
Step 2 - Assessment
Have a medical, clinical assessment done by a professional psychiatrist/psychologist.
Detox may be required.
Step 3 - Documentation & Assessments
Provide the required documentation related to diagnostic assessments
Undergo base treatment assessments
Step 4 - Admission & Settling In
Meet your counsellor and the residential “peer Group” and settle into your room. Then begins the process of treatment, healing and recovery.
